MANILA - Content moderators who filter offensive content from the internet usually require stress debriefing and time to unwind due to the demands of the job.

Moderators are exposed to gruesome content on a daily basis from pornography, violence, terrorism to pedophilia.

TaskUs in Cavite, a customer experience agency, hired its own psychologist and life coaches to safeguard the well-being of their moderators.

"Yes, definitely it could have an impact. But I think for the most part, the people who were able to stay, they’re very matured in handling it," TaskUs operations manager Elaine Darvin told ABS-CBN News.

Additional amenities such as a gaming room, sleeping lounges and sitting nooks were provided to help the employees unwind.
