Those who have been watching FPJ’s Batang Quiapo would surely recognize her as Camille, the ingenuous girlfriend of McCoy de Leon’s totally abhorred deceitful character David. Since she’s a new face, many viewers are certainly curious who’s the beautiful young actress behind the character – and she is none other than Yukii Takahashi.

First of all, she uses her real name as her screen name, with her full name being Yukii Baldueza Takahashi. She was born on January 16, 2002, under the star sign Capricorn and is now 21 years old.

With regard to her favorites, she disclosed that her favorite color is blue. Having Japanese blood, it’s not surprising that she has great liking for Japanese cuisine, with chawanmushi and salmon sashimi as her top favorite food. As of now, Miley Cyrus latest single “Angels Like You” has been giving her LSS (or last song syndrome). And, lastly, her favorite vacation spot is Tagaytay City.

Whenever she’s not acting, she can be probably seen singing, dancing, making TikTok videos, and walking around. While we already know how multi-faceted she is, Yukii takes pride on how she’s able to adapt to things quickly.

Did you know that she actually used to dream of becoming a doctor, specifically a dermatologist? But now that she has already broken into the local entertainment scene, she now aims to become a businesswoman and a successful actress not just here in the Philippines, but also worldwide. Since she’s just starting in the industry, she still doesn’t have any particular dream role in mind. For now, she aspires to become versatile actress, just like her ultimate idols Angelina Jolie and Anne Hathaway. And her motto in life? She sincerely said, “Enjoy the pain, it won’t last long.”

When asked to describe herself, she simply uttered “genuine.” She gave an atypical definition of love, which is “love is every emotion.”

Yukii also talked a bit about her firsts. Her first auditions were in the TV adaptations of Darna and in Goin’ Bulilit that were both in the early 2000s when she was only a kid. Meanwhile, she had her first fangirl moment with Thai actor Mario Maurer, when he worked opposite Erich Gonzalez for the 2012 Star Cinema flick “Suddenly It’s Magic.”

She considers TV host-actress Alexa Miro and comedian-actor Empoy Marquez as her first showbiz friends, while she looks up to seasoned actresses Angel Locsin and Judy Ann Santos as her showbiz role models.
