We may abhor him as the crafty and cruel P/Maj. Albert de Vela in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, but Geoff Eigenmann is actually a lovable man in real life. More than his handsome looks and impressive acting chops, he is admired for being a devoted husband and doting dad to their three children.

Even though he and wife Maya Flores are both part of the local entertainment industry, they’ve managed to keep their relationship low-key and strong in the past six years! But how did their love story blossomed? They enthusiastically reminisced about it during their Magandang Buhay interview in 2019.

According to the lovely couple, their paths first crossed in 2015 when they were still under the same talent agency. Sparks started to fly between them during a photoshoot, wherein Momshie-host Jolina Magdangal was also a part of, as their companions relentlessly teased them with each other.

As a self-confessed ‘sucker’ for singers, he easily fell in love with Maya, who was then a part of the music duo Migz and Maya. Thus, as his way of showing his admiration for her, he showed up every time she had gigs. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Going through their Instagram accounts, the two seemingly began dating in 2016, as they also started posting photos of them being sweet with one another that year. Based on the photos they uploaded, Geoff and Maya are fond of going to different places together and have never been shy to display their love for each other, may it be during their “babe times” or social media posts

In one of the 37-year-old actor’s birthday tribute for Maya, he wrote in the caption: “thank you for the most fulfilling and most meaningful years of my life! looking forward to spending the rest of my days with you. i love you! (sic)”

They officially became “Mr. & Mrs. Eigenmann” after tying the knot through an intimate Christian wedding ceremony last February 22, 2022, which was officiated by Pastor Bodie Cruz, the son of veteran actor and Geoff’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano co-star Tirso Cruz III.

Before getting married, Geoff and Maya were already happy and proud parents to three adorable children. Their firstborn Arabella Simone was born in 2017, their second Augustus Geoffrey in 2019, and their youngest Penelope Rose in 2020.
