People have so much to say about her bread and butter. Joy’s husband Norman (Norvin Dela Peña) even implied that it is immoral, but Chicky takes such comments without offense. She’d go on living life by her rules.

Sparkling dialogues are part of her charm. In some scenes, she’d tell her friends that it’s better to be practical than die starving. At a time she caught Joy looking problematic about her eatery’s meager earnings, she told her that sometimes the ideal thing to do is to let go of our principles. She calls it ‘diskarte.’

She’s the dream girl of many guys in their area, as shown in her interaction with Tanggol (Coco Martin)’s friends. They bantered about going out on dates, with Chicky saying she’s only available to wealthy men. Well, she could play along with the jokes if she wants to. “Maglaway kayo,” she told Tanggol’s group as she walked away, lobbying her ‘taray’ mode.

Chicky is the kind of best friend who makes life easier. She was Mokang’s dependable help in planning the best but ‘budgetarian’ debut party. When Mokang lost her remaining money to a snatcher, Chicky gave her a reassuring hug and the amount she lost. She acted as the event’s planner, making sure every detail is perfect. She reminded Tanggol’s group to avoid trouble, leading to a good vibes-inducing banter with the Primetime King, who paid for her snacks using the money he stole.
