RnB and Soul Princess Kyla and professional basketball player Rich Alvarez couldn’t be any happier as they celebrate almost a decade of marriage. Especially since they’ve added their son Toby to their adventures. The trio has been to Universal Studios, seen the Northern Lights, and would occasionally wear matching jerseys. Having dated for seven years before marriage, Rich is Kyla’s one and only serious relationship.

On Tonight with Boy Abunda she was all was praises for her husband. Kyla shared that Rich is nothing but kind and supportive of her career. He would even feel a tinge of jealousy sometimes whenever she and RnB King Jay-R would perform together. But she never noticed because of how supportive he was.

Kyla also revealed that they have different parenting styles because Rich grew up in America. He’s the strict one because she tends to spoil Toby sometimes. But true to being the ideal husband, he would always cook breakfast for their family every morning, without fail. A successful career and a happy family, what more could Kyla ask for.
