Get ready, “Zoomers” fans! The return of our beloved “Zoomkada” is fast approaching, and the hype is real! After the show dropped some behind-the-scenes shots from the cast’s recent pictorial, creative producer Theodore Boborol, or Direk Ted, just gave us another “ayuda” that’s got us even more excited. Direk Ted released a vlog where he picked the best questions from fans and personally asked them to the cast during the photoshoot. Time to get up close and personal with our faves!

Harvey Bautista

Harvey, aka Jiggs, was asked about his sister who lives abroad. He shared that they only see each other every December, making every moment with her extra special—cheesy but true! When asked about handling heavy scenes with Criza, who plays Hope, Harvey mentioned that they have mastered their characters, so they mostly discuss the pacing and build-up of scenes rather than their motivations or conflicts. Reflecting on being busy and booked since starring in “Zoomers,” he recalled feeling sad when he didn’t get call-backs from go-sees. Now, with multiple projects at once, he’s grateful and says it’s all worth the wait. Despite their hectic schedules, Harvey and Criza have maintained their friendship.

Criza Taa

In the series as Hope, Criza confessed that her love language varies depending on the person, but she values acts of service since she’s an independent girl most of the time. Balancing her career as an artist and influencer is challenging, especially with multiple commitments, but she’s learned to manage her time effectively. When asked about Harvey's best trait, Criza revealed that he's caring and often drives her home since their houses are on the same route.

Hadiyah Santos

Hadiyah, or Juniper in the story, was asked if she’s open to dating a “Zoomers” cast member, and she said no, as she only sees them as friends. At 20, her brother Erik Santos has given her the green light to date, though. Hadiyah teased that Season 2 will bring more drama, conflict, and kilig. Her character will join the main “Zoomers” gang for some time and evolve from being shy to fun and confident.

Zabel Lamberth

Coffee is the secret to the female cast members' happiness, according to Zabel, who plays Beth, with up to six cups a day keeping their ‘chikahan’ sessions livelier. When dared to pick her favorite cast members, she mentioned Kei, Hadiyah, and Erika as her closest among the group but emphasized that everyone is friendly. The most playful moments on set depend on the scene and the number of people involved, but viewers can expect lots of fun in Season 2!

Kei Kurosawa

Kei, who is involved in a GL plot in the story, believes that love knows no boundaries. “’Pag naramdaman mo ‘yung feeling na ‘yun, kahit sino pa ‘yan, kahit ano pang itsura,” she said. Love is love, and that’s why she’s open to the possibility of falling for someone from the same gender. For her Season 2 preparations, Kei created a journal and playlist for her character, Faye, an influencer with a healthy lifestyle. She is thrilled to be part of another Kapamilya serye, “Pamilya Sagrado,” alongside fellow Zoomers Harvey and Luis.

Luis Vera Perez

Admiration for Harvey’s character Jiggs comes from all corners, with even Luis, who portrays Dino, praising Jiggs for being multifaceted. He picked Jiggs as his most loved character in the story, and then, humble as ever, went for Dino as his least favorite. When asked who the sweetest cast member is, he mentioned that everyone is friendly and bonded. To describe “Zoomers” Season 2 in one word, he chose “redemption.” Stay tuned to find out why!

Erika Davis

Erika likes “Zoomers” Season 2 better because it has more to offer for her character, Mica, especially in her being an ‘ate’ to Jiggs. If the Zoomers cast would have a follow-up project, she hopes it’s a romcom genre. Erika’s most memorable moment from taping Season 2 was bonding with the girls during their room chats and ‘marites’ moments.

Krystl Ball

Expressing her happiness for the shows continuity into Season 2, Krystl, who plays Tania, is especially excited to further explore the GL storyline she shares with Kei. Asked to choose who she likes better – the real Kei or the fictional character Faye – she thought that Faye is intimidating, a contrast to Kei who is bubbly. Krystl’s favorite line from the second season is “Gihigugma ta ka”—fans will have to wait and see who she says it to!

Luke Alford

Playing Kokoy, Luke’s funniest moment during taping was sneaking a swim at the beach with Harvey and Ralph, despite the production's rules. He shared that the cast has been close friends since before Season 1, and their bond has grown more. Asked about his recent trip with fellow Star Magic artist Gabb Skribikin, he disclosed that they went to Bataan and visited the Mt. Samat.

Argel Saycon

Argel, who takes on the character of Enzo, recalled the intense heat during taping but noted that the high energy from everyone was motivating. His favorite on-set activities include sleeping or eating when not filming, or chatting with co-stars when there’s company. He mentioned that Harvey is the sweetest cast member, often treating the cast to food, and noted that Harvey’s family owns the resort where they filmed.

Zach Castaneda

Zach teased that his character, Direk Martin, becomes more sociopathic and ego-centric in the upcoming season. Even with fewer scenes, he stayed at the beach resort until the whole filming was done. Fortunately, a video game console brought by Harvey kept him entertained while alone at the cabin.

Ralph de Leon

Playing Atom in the series, Ralph confirmed that Season 2 will be intense and encouraged fans to watch. His most memorable experience while taping was a boys' night with lights out and blasting speakers for a jam session in their room. Ralph’s favorite on-set activity is jamming. Even though he’s not a singer, he’s learning to sing for live mall shows.

Director Kevin Alambra

Direk Kevin’s favorite scene with Jiggs and Hope in Season 2 is their confrontation, where emotions are high, and the performances are elevated. When asked to rate the off-cam sweetness of CrizVey, he gave it an 11 out of 10, noting that their chemistry blurs the line between on-cam and off-cam moments. He also confirmed that there will be a kissing scene between the GL tandem of Krystl and Kei.
