ABS-CBN’s Christmas Special 2022 “Tayo Ang Ligaya Ng Isa’t Isa” lighted up the holiday season with dazzling performances from the brightest Kapamilya stars.

As a bonus, the celebration extended backstage with exclusive interviews, unique games, and all sorts of ‘Paskulitan’ in which the artists participated.
In this behind-the-scenes video, ASAP Natin ‘To mainstays Maymay Entrata, Darren Espanto, Krystal Brimner, and Sheena Belarmino got their game on via level-up charades that you may want to copy during your Christmas Eve get-togethers.

But, before the game begins, the quartet chatted with Alora Sasam to share their yuletide plans. We could feel Maymay’s excitement when she announced she is celebrating with her boyfriend and mother’s side of the family in Japan since last year was with her family in the province.

It’s going to be an overseas Christmas for Darren as well, who is having a show in Dubai. He’d be bringing his family with him so they can celebrate Christmas there, sans his father, who is in Canada. We’re so excited for Darren to try skydiving!

Krystal would spend quality time with family in the City of Pines, Baguio where the weather is cold and Christmas looks magical. Meanwhile, Sheena can’t go home to Cebu City because of work, instead, she’d be spending with her mother’s side of the family in Cavite.

Game time! In the charades with a twist, the group would have to act out Christmas-related phrases that have a noun, verb, and object. They picked Krystal to act out the noun, Darren for the verb, and Maymay for the object, while Sheena had to guess the complete phrase. Play this game at your get-togethers and everyone will surely be on their toes!

The first phrase “buntis na nagsasabit ng parol” was kind of easy. However, it got difficult in the next rounds as the Cebu-native Sheena struggled with Tagalog. Also, how do you act out ‘candy cane’ to complete the phrase “beauty queen na nagpupunas ng candy cane?”

The next item “barber na nagmamasahe ng gingerbread man” appeared intimidating to Maymay, so she switched positions with Darren. Still, they failed. For the last round, they had to demo and guess “baby na gumugulong ng ham.” So, somebody had to literally roll over the floor!

To cap it off, Maymay, Darren, Krystal, and Sheena imparted their Christmas wishes for Kapamilyas. Darren got the ball rolling: “Merry Christmas to each and everyone of you. We hope all you are safe. Alam namin na may mga ilan sa inyo na hindi ganu’n kaligaya ang Pasko n’yo pero sana po sa munting programa namin ay nakabigay kami ng kaunting ngiti sa inyong mga mukha.”

Maymay wishes us a Christmas season sprinkled with self-love, “Kasi hindi po natin alam kung paano maging mabuti sa ating kapwa kung hindi po natin alam paano magiging mabuti sa ating mga sarili.” She added, “Spread the love and kindness kasi grabe na po talaga ‘yung nangyayari sa mundo natin. Kailangan po natin ay maging masaya talaga para sa isa’t isa.”

Krystal’s message is drenched in gratitude to the fans, who remain loyal Kapamilyas despite uncertainties and challenges. Sheena's wish is that Kapamilyas live out the spirit of giving.
