Summer is already here! While we all have different preferences on how to spend it, many sees it as a perfect time to go on getaways and try out various activities. One of such is camping, which even some of our favorite celebrities love to do as it allows them to unwind and attain the peace and relaxation they yearn for while also reconnecting with Mother Earth through pitching a tent, marveling at the beauty of nature, and sleeping under the stars.

Whether you’re still pondering to try camping for the first time soon or already thinking where to do it next, you may want to check out the fun and memorable camping experiences of celebrities in this Kapamilya Snaps feature!

Jane Oineza and RK Bagatsing

While others were enjoying the beach or observing religious activities, Jane and RK decided to go on a retreat at a nature camp in Tanay, Rizal during the recent Holy Week break. RK shared a few snaps they took during their “#OfflineAdventure,” including videos of them having a bonfire and traversing a river while on their car. He captioned his post, “Escaping the noise, reconnecting with nature.”

Gerald Anderson

Whenever he’s not working on project or his other endeavors, Gerald enjoys life by keeping things simple. Last February, the Kapamilya actor gave his followers a glimpse of his camping trip with friends through the photos that he shared in two carousels. They apparently had it by the sea and by the river, in which they were seen chatting and enjoying food and booze with friends.

Julia Barretto

And just last March, it was Julia’s turn to join his boyfriend in a camping trip to celebrate their birthdays. They were indeed perfect images of “happy campers” based on the snaps she shared on IG, wherein they’re seen enjoying the cool, shallow waters of the river and the falls of their campsite along with their friends. The beautiful actress also shared a video of her driving an all-terrain vehicle with one of her besties.

Sofia Andres

Just looking at the photos and videos that she uploads on IG, we can see how Sofia and partner Daniel Miranda love to have fun, whether it’s just the two of them or with their unica hija Zoe. In recent years, we saw them go on several camping trips, some were seemingly unplanned as disclosed by Daniel, using their trusty and functional truck campers.

Yeng Constantino

In the nine years that they’ve been married, Yeng and husband Yan Asuncion have already shared a lot of fun and memorable moments and adventures together. Among them are going on nature trips together, which they usually do through camping. They also have a farm house in Quezon Province, where they had their first-ever glamping experience in 2022.

Jericho Rosales

Whenever he’s not busy with his showbiz projects, Jericho can be found either riding his motorcycle, driving his jeep, or going on a wilderness adventure in his camper van, which he described as his “home away from home”. Based on the pictures that he shared on IG in the past years, the talented heartthrob seems to usually go on his own, with his friends, or with his beloved furbaby he fondly calls Winston.

Neri Miranda

In 2018, Neri celebrated her 33rd birthday by going on a camping trip with her husband Chito Miranda and their firstborn Miggy who was still a toddler then. They chose to have it at the Pamulaklakin Forest Trail in Zambales. It was a classic one as they set up a tent, lit up a bonfire, roasted marshmallows and hotdogs, and let their young one play by the river.
