<p>Driven by their fear of mishandling newborns and inflicting injuries to their still fragile and delicate bodies, most dads arguably refrain from carrying their babies a few hours and days after they’re born. Thus, we really find it heartwarming to see an adorable newborn being carried by his/her protective father into his loving arms.</p><p>Just like the doting celebrity dads in this Kapamilya Snaps feature, whose snaps with their beloved newborns posted on Instagram received plenty of love and support from their fans! Read on to find out who they are!</p><div><strong>Richard Gutierrez</strong></div><p>The <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/theironheart"><strong><u>The Iron Heart</u></strong></a> leading man’s fatherhood journey began when his wife Sarah Lahbati gave birth to their firstborn Zion in April 2013. As he greeted him on his third birthday in 2016, he regarded the little boy as his “stronghold” and “little rockstar.” Two years later, Richard and Sarah welcomed their second son Kai on March 21, 2018.</p><p>Now, the two boys have grown to become good-looking and adventurous just like their parents.</p><div><strong>Jhong Hilario</strong></div><p>He may in the local entertainment scene for quite some time now, but Jhong only received the “greatest gift” of his life when his daughter Sarina was born in March 2021. And that year was indeed a remarkable one for him and his family since it was also when he marked his milestone 45<sup>th</sup> birthday.</p><p>Despite his hectic schedule as an artist and politician, the <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itshowtime"><strong><u>It’s Showtime</u></strong></a> host apparently makes sure to be still hands-on in taking care of Sarina – as seen in some of his social media posts. Aside from taking her to her gymnastics classes and vacations, he also develops her passion and talent in performing.</p><div><strong>Luis Manzano</strong></div><p>In his over four decades of existence, Luis is going to celebrate his first-ever Father’s Day this year! As we all know, he and his wife Jessy Mendiola welcomed their firstborn Isabella Rose in December 2022. Since then, the couple has been delighting us with their social media posts featuring their daughter.</p><p>The <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/icsyv"><strong><u>I Can See Your Voice</u></strong></a> host recently opened up about his fatherhood journey in his latest vlog, wherein he confessed to his Daddyo Edu Manzano how scared he was upon holding Baby Peanut for the first time in his arms.</p><div><strong>JC Santos</strong></div><p>He indeed surprised his followers when he posted about his then one-month-old daughter River in March 2020 for the very first time. Since it was the beginning of the pandemic, the <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/dirtylinen"><strong><u>Dirty Linen</u></strong></a> actor got to spend plenty of time with her and his wife Shyleena during the lockdown. There’s no wonder that the little girl has grown tightly bonded with her Daddy JC.</p><div><strong>JC de Vera</strong></div><p>It was in July 2018 when JC initially introduced his firstborn Lana Athena, who was born that same year in April. Even though he was busy with the slew of projects he had to do then, he’s able to find time to bond with and taking her to getaways.</p><p>And five years since becoming a first-time dad, JC is now a proud father to two adorable girls after his wife Rikkah gave birth to their second daughter Laura Amanda early this month. He uploaded what seemed to be their first snap together and wrote in the caption: “We are overjoyed to have you in our lives, our love for you will only continue to grow stronger with every passing day.”</p><div><strong>John Prats</strong></div><p>In the past three decades that he’s been in in showbiz, we have surely witnessed John mark a lot of momentous milestones in his life. Among them are the births of his three children with wife Isabel Oli.</p><p>He got the first taste of becoming a father when they welcomed their firstborn Feather in April 2016. Two years later, the actor-director then became a dad for the second time when his son Freedom was born in November 2018 and for the third time with the arrival of their <em>bunso</em> Forest in July 2020. Seeing his snaps with them is indeed a delight, right?</p><div><strong>Markus Paterson</strong></div><p>He was just 22 when he became a dad for the first time after he and ex-partner Janella Salvador welcomed their son Jude in October 2020. However, it was only until January 2021 when they introduced Baby Jude to the public for the first time. Since then, he has already posted countless adorable snaps of his son or of their bonding moments together on Instagram.</p><div><strong>McCoy de Leon</strong></div><p>It really indeed came as a shocking surprise when McCoy and Elisse Joson announced that they’re already parents to a bouncing baby girl named Felize, who they welcomed in April 2021. Since then, the couple has been generously posting various contents about their <em>unica hija</em> and their little family, with the former Hashtag member sharing some of their cute daddy-daughter moments together through photos and videos prior to resetting his Instagram early this year.</p><div><strong>Erwan Heussaff</strong></div><p>From creating contents and being a devoted husband to <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itshowtime"><strong><u>It’s Showtime</u></strong></a> host Anne Curtis, Erwan took on daddy duties when Baby Dahlia was born in March 2020. Since they spent her early months during the pandemic and in Australia, they’re able to take her to lots of hiking trips, picnics, beach days, and more adventures. And he’s obviously enjoying every moment of being a dutiful dad as he wrote in one of his posts: “Embracing my new role as a full time dad/florist/baby photographer.” At present, one of their favorite bonding activities is playing and cooking.</p><div><strong>Diego Loyzaga</strong></div><p>And just recently, showbiz onlookers were indeed shocked when Diego posted a snap of him cradling a baby in his arms and hinted on becoming a father now as he captioned it: “The best birthday gift ever”. Even though Diego has yet to formally introduce the newborn, his mother Teresa Loyzaga already referred to herself as the “Glam-Ma Lola” in her comment to the said post.</p><p>These snaps of celebrity dads with their beloved newborns indeed show their softer sides that we don’t usually onscreen.</p>
