“Sana mainis kayo,” said Kapamilya star Dawn Chang talking about her role in the much anticipated “Darna: The TV Series” via this episode of Kapamilya Chat.

Giving a little hint about her character, Dawn said she’d b playing a kontrabida role as a politician’s secretary. The Pinoy Big Brother alum was also asked about working with the teleserye’s two main actresses Jane De Leon playing the iconic superheroine Darna and Janella Salvador as the kontrabida Valentina.

She mentioned that she gets along with Janella in so many ways including their taste in food and music. They are both pescatarian and into old jazzy songs. While they rarely share scenes on screen, they have become really good friends off-cam.

On Jane, she said the new-gen Darna works hard and doesn’t complain. Jane is grinding every single day. “Kami may mga days off, siya wala. ‘Yung pagod physically, mentally and emotionally bilang Darna siya, we consider that. She’s very hard working.”

It’s her first time working in a lock-in taping and so far, she loves how the setup grows their bond. They’re not just co-actors anymore but family with specific roles to portray in the bubble they call home.

“Darna: The TV Series” is slated to take flight this 2022.
