After five years of dating and more than a year of getting married, Jessy Mendiola and her husband Luis Manzano finally welcomed their firstborn on December 28, 2022 – a beautiful baby girl they named Isabella Rose and fondly call “Peanut” or “Rosie”.

Since she’s their first baby, the couple, especially the actress, has been enthusiastically sharing through the snaps and reels that they post on their respective social media accounts, as well as vlogs that they publish on their respective YouTube channels, their parenthood journey from when she was still pregnant to the present that Baby Rosie is already over a year old.

Jessy announced their daughter’s birth on January 7, 2023 by uploading an image of the baby lying on the left side of her body and wrapping her hand around her thumb. She captioned it, “I never knew I could love like this.” It was only on the 29th of January when they first bared Rosie’s full appearance by sharing a photo of her in a pink ensemble while making a candid pose beside a bunch of pink roses arranged to form the shape of the number “1” to mark her first month.

Since then, they went on to share her progress every month by having her pictures taken beside a dainty arrangement of flowers in various hues that complemented her cute dresses. They had her baptized in April 2023, on the very same day that they celebrated the 42nd birthday of Luis. Aside from their family milestones, which include their wedding last February, Jessy and Luis also shared a few snaps and clips from their fun family travels here and abroad, such as in Singapore, Palawan, Boracay, and Japan.

As she celebrated her second Mother’s Day with Baby Rosie this year, she posted several photos of them together captured during one of their vacations and wrote in the caption, “Thank you for teaching me so much, my little Rosie. Iba pala talaga ang pagmamahal na ibibigay mo kapag may anak ka na, hinding hindi nauubos kahit kailan pa man. I am truly blessed and honored to have a daughter like you, thank you for choosing me to be your mother.”
