It’s no secret that the It’s Showtime hosts are some of the most admired fashion icons in the country. We mean, who doesn’t love watching and hitting the heart button on their OOTD reels? If they could be this fashionable and pull all the stops for their daily outfits on the show, imagine how elaborate their style could be on the red carpet.

This makes us wander back to 2019 when the bunch turned heads with their fabulous Modern Filipiniana attires on the ABS-CBN Ball red carpet. Feast your eyes on their captivating looks at the Ball, all compiled in this throwback gallery.

The group showcased their modern and unique takes on the theme of Modern Filipiniana. Anne Curtis owned the red carpet looking like a sweet debutante in a lavender terno with dramatic butterfly sleeves, and a tasteful fascinator headband to complete the look.

A true showstopper, Vice Ganda pulled off a ‘carnival queen’ theme by wearing an imposing gown that’s heavily embellished with multi-colored stones in its bodice, plus oversized puffed sleeves and a long trail. As for the hair, she went for blonde accessorized with a gold crown.

Vhong Navarro also proved that a pop of color wouldn’t hurt. He brought vibrant energy on the red carpet with his black-gold polo with a striped yellow, orange and red barong coat.

Jhong Hilario looked dignified in his fully buttoned white barong, while Ryan Bang was totally charming in his white, criss-cross patterned barong suit and tie. Ogie Alcasid likewise remained faithful to the romantic, traditional form of the Barong Tagalog.

Karylle was the vision of elegance in her silky platinum-colored jumpsuit with a butterfly-sleeved cloak – modern Filipiniana indeed. Of course, you can rely on Kim Chiu to carry fashion and charm on the red carpet. The ‘Chinita Princess’ swapped her signature 'Cinderella' ensembles for a beaded, backless white mermaid gown.

Making her ABS-CBN Ball debut that year was Jackie Gonzaga, who kept her visuals sweet by donning a baby pink embroidered Filipiniana.

The It’s Showtime family is indeed showstoppers when it comes to dressing up. What’s your fearless forecast for their looks to the upcoming ABS-CBN Ball?
