The madlang people absolutely admires host Vice Ganda for being a multi-faceted artist, who astounds us with her formidable flair in comedy, hosting, performing, and even acting. We are so amazed with how quick-witted and full of wisdom she is, as well as how she can slay every stage that she’s on with just her mere presence.

But more than her plethora of talents and mesmerizing beauty, another thing that we adore about her is her huge love for the people around her, especially to her beloved Nanay Rosario. Even though there are instances that she would make her the subject of her jokes or would poke fun at her, she actually adores her with all her heart.

And early this month, she’s able to show it by throwing an unkabogable party to celebrate her 78^th birthday in Sorsogon, wherein she had a free concert for the opening of Kasanggayahan Festival 2023 last October 8. It was attended by their whole family and other relatives and close friends, and was hosted by Vice’s friends and It’s Showtime co-hosts MC Muah and Lassy.

The event, which was held at the Residencia del Hamor Hotel Resort owned by the family of Sorsogon City Mayor Ester Hamor, commenced with the attendees singing her two different lively birthday songs as she blew the candle of her three-tiered white cake. Vice, who was then cladded in a white slip dress and blonde bob wig, joined MC and Lassy as they called on the participants in the gift giving for Nanay Rosario.

Along with the material presents, which included a scarf, perfume, rosary, sleepwear, and a box of tea, Nanay Rosario also received heartwarming and sentimental messages from her children, grandkids, and friends.

Vice capped off that segment of the program by sharing that her “best moment” everyday is talking to Nanay Rosario via video call by the end of each day before the latter goes to sleep.

“‘Yon ang ikinasasaya ng puso ko araw-araw. Sa dami ng mga nagaganap sa buhay ko, sa dami ng ginagawa ko everyday, kahit pagod na pagod na ako [at] stress na stress na ako, nilo-look forward ko pa rin ‘yong pagtawag niya sa akin tuwing alas-dose o bago siya matulog para mag-‘good night’ at mag-‘I love you’. Maraming, maraming salamat kasi araw-araw [at] gabi-gabi, ‘yon ang pinaka magandang nangyayari sa akin,” the Unkabogable Star stated.
