Pranking and playful jabs have become the ultimate love language in the Alawi family. If you’ve been an avid follower of Ivana Alawi’s vlogs, you know she and her fambam are all about keeping things light and fun, especially when it comes to one-upping each other.

This time, the youngest in the brood, Mona, took her turn in the prank war by putting fake spiders on her siblings’ bed. Consider this her sweet dose of revenge after Ivana’s sneaky scare with fake cockroaches.

So, was Mona’s revenge prank a success? Well, let’s just say, someone actually ended up rolling off the bed in sheer fright!

Mona’s first target was the eldest sister, Amira. Since Amira shares her bed with her little boy, Gab, Mona had to be extra careful. She woke up Gab first to ensure he wouldn’t be startled and enlisted his help in setting up the trick. Amira’s bed was soon covered with toy spiders that Mona and Gab placed together. The ‘eight-leggers’ were so lifelike and equipped with remote-controlled movements that they could practically crawl off the bed!

When Mona finally turned on the spiders, Amira jumped out of bed confused and laughing. Though she wasn’t actually scared of these crawly creatures, her reaction was still priceless and so they considered this round a success.

Next up was Mona’s kuya, Hash, and let’s just say the mischief didn’t go exactly as planned. Instead of Hash getting scared, it was Mona who ended up flustered when Hash suddenly woke up and startled her. It turns out he was half-asleep the entire time she was setting up the spiders, so he barely reacted to the prank. The big lesson here? Maybe keep the noise down while setting up the props to avoid waking up the victim!

Mona, being her fearless self, decided to target Mama Fatima next. Did her little game land? Well, Mama Fatima did spring up in surprise when she heard the crawling noises of the toy spiders, but only because she thought it was the sound of heavy rain. Despite the mix-up, Mona’s prank was still a win because Mama Fatima got a bit spooked by the clatter.

And for the grand finale, Mona was ready to take on the family’s original prank queen—Ivana herself. With Hash’s help, she carefully placed the toy spiders on Ivana’s bed while she was sound asleep. The moment of truth arrived, and boy, did it deliver!

Ivana, terrified by the moving spiders, spun around in a frenzy, got tangled in the huge comforter, and ended up falling off the bed. In her panic, she dashed to the bathroom to escape the creepy crawlies. The whole scene was pure chaos!

To make amends, Mona even prepared iced coffee for her sister. But given how things went down, one has to wonder if the iced coffee might just make Ivana even more jumpy.
