Besides it being a tribute to the legacy of National Artist for Film Fernando Poe Jr., who starred in the original 1986 film, the project also boasts a lofty ensemble cast and very Pinoy elements that will make for a pleasurable viewing experience.

Based on the title, the series will be shot mostly in the streets of Quiapo, which perfectly captures the lives of ordinary Pinoys, making it surely relatable and gratifying to see for the audience. “Exciting ‘yung story, parang makulay. Marami pang pwedeng mangyari sa paligid ng Quiapo,” said Allan Paule during the story conference.

Mercedes Cabral is proud to be part of the gigantic ensemble cast and looking forward to collaborating with everyone. Ping Medina is grateful to share this project with his father Pen Medina and to be reunited with Coco. The Medinas aren’t the only family tandem in the show since Coco’s brother Ronwaldo Martin is also part of the series.
