From ‘Little Dreamer’ to Magna Cum Laude: Former child star Amy Nobleza soars high, inspired by Vice Ganda’s support

<p>Some people prefer to play it safe, only stepping out when they’re absolutely certain of success. In contrast, there are fearless souls like Amy Nobleza, who relentlessly pursue their dreams. And, more often than not, the universe favors individuals like her, those who dare to chase their aspirations, those boldly thrusting themselves into the unknown armed only with determination and faith. </p><p>Amy  just proved that no dream is too big when you work hard for it–and with a little help from friends. As a self-supporting student, Amy balanced her career as an actress and singer to fund her education. She earned her degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing Management, from Lyceum of the Philippines University as magna cum laude. This impressive achievement is a culmination of years of grinding and hustling, but what makes her journey even more special is the support she received from the Unkabogable Star, Vice Ganda, whom she thanked in her Instagram post.</p><p>Vice played a pivotal role in Amy’s road to the finish line. Back in 2019, Amy participated in the &quot;<strong>Tawag Ng Tanghalan Celebrity Champions</strong>&quot; edition on “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itsshowtime" target="_blank"><u><strong>It&#x27;s Showtime</strong></u></a>.” After her performance, she was starstruck by Vice, and the emotions flooded her as she cried tears of joy while embracing her idol. For Amy, it was incredibly heartwarming to realize that Vice had watched her grow up as a child star and even remembered that she sang the theme song “Sana” for the inspirational-fantasy series “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-photos/02090218-throwback-mutya-2011-14523" target="_blank"><u><strong>Mutya</strong></u></a>,” where she portrayed Chabita, the young princess of the black mermaids.</p><p>Vice, equally amazed, took note of Amy’s academic excellence– Salutatorian in elementary school and Top 1 in Grade 11. After learning that Amy was a self-supporting student, Vice offered to help, expressing admiration for young stars who manage to prioritize education while excelling in their craft. From a young age, she demonstrated strong grit in pursuing her dreams. At just six years old, she courageously stepped into the spotlight by joining “<strong>Pinoy Dream Academy: Little Dreamers</strong>,” where she secured the second-place title.</p><p>In an episode of the online weekend show &quot;BRGY,&quot; Amy shared that she discovered her love for singing at just three years old. Even then, she knew she wanted to perform, especially with the motivation she received from her family.  “Noong bata ako, na-enjoy ko talaga kasi nagagawa ko ‘yung passion ko, nakaka-meet ako ng new friends,” she reminisced fondly. In addition to “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/articles-photos/02090218-throwback-mutya-2011-14523" target="_blank"><u><strong>Mutya</strong></u></a>,” Amy made her mark in “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/goinbulilit" target="_blank"><u><strong>Goin’ Bulilit</strong></u></a>.” </p><p>Then, we’ve watched the adorable little Amy take on increasingly challenging roles, each providing her with the opportunity to grow as an actress.
