In partnership with JoyRide, closeup drove strangers to work with a fun blind date inside the car. A matchmaking in the middle of Manila traffic, the initiative was open to people 18 years old and above across all genders and orientations.

"Ang free ride na inoffer namin, na isa na ring blind date, ay way for carpoolers to get to know each other better. So inside the car naglaro sila ng different activities and games para makilala ang isa't isa at 'yun nga, malay mo, ma-develop into something more," closeup Business Performance Manager Abby Pel said.

Among those who participated in Ride Closer was actor and content creator Brent Manalo who described the AMA-ZINC car date as an enjoyable experience. He shared, "Tawa lang kami ng tawa tapos 'yung ka-date ko kasi ano siya eh, parang di mo mafe-feel na kakakilala lang ninyo. Parang matagal na kaming magkakilala."

Another participant, Isabel Reyes, said that the Ride Closer experience was an exciting way to meet new people. She remarked, "Nandun 'yung excitement na may makilala kang bago and also in a semi-organic way of meeting people, so that's nice. And then nung okay na, nakapag-usap na kami [ng ka-date ko], nakapag-kwentuhan na, at naging comfortable na, masaya na.”
