When asked by MJ about her pageant experiences, she described the unique challenges it posed. “It was really hard, kasi sa pageant parang it’s the whole package, versus sa BINI na talagang talent talaga na sing and dance na performance,” she reflected. “Mas hindi sing and dance ‘yung focus sa pageant. It’s nice I get to expand more of my knowledge and learn new skills.” The transition from pageantry to performance has taught her versatility and resilience—a testament to her determination to keep evolving, both on and off stage.

Aiah also shared how much she cherishes the lively and “unserious” atmosphere that BINI provides, bringing out a fun, carefree side of her. “Dito ko na na-feel, dito sa BINI na, okay lang. You can be unserious, but you’re still you. Naba-balance ’yung serious and unserious,” she explained, highlighting the unique balance that BINI members strike between hard work and humor. This vibe has fostered a camaraderie that helps each member navigate the whirlwind of opportunities and challenges coming their way.

Taking life “day by day” has become essential for Aiah as BINI enters a busy phase, filled with new songs and projects that fans can look forward to. Despite the packed schedule, she continues to find moments to focus on personal growth—specifically, her newfound interest in sports and fitness. It’s an area she once shied away from but now embraces with open arms. “Before, sobra akong shy, timid, weakling ako. Lagi ako nagkakasakit dati and my parents would push me to do sports, be active,” she recounted. Her recent boxing sessions, which she proudly shared with her parents, made them “so happy and so proud.” From boxing to swimming, hiking, and jogging, Aiah is determined to build her strength, tackling these activities with the same enthusiasm she brings to the stage.

Even with her busy schedule, Aiah has her eyes set on another goal—finishing her education. She shared the challenges of juggling her career and schooling, admitting that with BINI’s plans to travel across the country and abroad, her studies have taken a temporary backseat. Yet her resolve to return is strong. “For this year and next year, may naka-schedule na ang dami ng lipad namin, different places and out of country. ‘Yung schooling ko po, I have to set aside for now. But I definitely wanna go back when I can, and gusto kong gumraduate sa school na pinag-aralan ko po.”
