In the movie “How to Slay a Nepo Baby,” Barbie Imperial dives into a world where privilege means bending or breaking the rules. But in real life, Barbie is nothing like her character, Cass. Unlike the typical "nepo baby" stereotype of flouting rules due to their privilege shown in her new film, Barbie's adherence to her own set of guidelines reveals a truer side of her.

We got a glimpse into her well-defined rules and routines as she took on the "My Rules" Challenge on Kapamilya Chat.

Barbie’s rules reflect her commitment to balance and self-discipline. When it comes to tattoos, she’s not overly strict but prefers minimalist designs, especially in red ink. Why red? It’s easier to cover up for roles or photoshoots, she explains.

As a younger woman, she enjoyed the freedom of no curfews. Now that she’s turning 26, she aims to be home by midnight or 1 AM at the latest to give herself enough rest.

Her take on friendships is equally insightful. Barbie believes in surrounding herself with people who share her values and ambitions. “Whatever you surround yourself, magre-reflect ‘yan sa sarili mo. So it’s very important for me to have friends na may pangarap sa buhay,” she noted.

When it comes to work, she has a strict rule: always be on time so she can rest early. She’s also not a fan of schedule changes, so in her circle of friends, once a date is set, it’s best to stick with it—otherwise, Barbie’s enthusiasm might just disappear!

True to her practical nature, she doesn’t splurge on impulse buys. Her shopping rule is simple: spend only from her extra cash.

In relationships, Barbie’s non-negotiable is maintaining her freedom for personal growth and self-care. “I think what I’ve learned from my past relationships is ‘pag may time ka sa sarili mo, nagagawa mo ‘yung pagwo-workout, pupunta ka sa derma, ‘yun ang mga hindi dapat mawala, ‘yung aalagaan mo pa rin ‘yung sarili,” she explained. She believes that being happy with yourself makes you happier in your relationship, proving that self-love truly enhances connection with a partner.
