Greed and vengeance can destroy one’s soul. This sounds true for Armando (John Estrada), previously a simple fisherman and farmer who turned into an avaricious killing machine. Crossing paths with the Agilas, he feigned hospitality to trap them and soon earn the bounty on their heads. Kapamilya Toplist re-tells how Armando plotted the Agilas’ downfall via this video montage from the longest-running action-drama series.

Armando harbored the group. His teammates first didn’t get his motive, resulting in a series of falling out. The first order was to show kindness to the Agilas, particularly to the group’s leader, Cardo (Coco Martin). He can go as far as axing his long-time friend Samuel (Michael Flores) for money.

Utterly selfish and having no remorse, Armando hooked Cardo in by bombing him with kindness, generosity, and aid. He ordered Mara (Julia Montes) to treat the wounded Agilas after a lopsided fight with the authorities. He wanted them alive because a reward awaits him for every Agila caught in a trap.

Armando wanted to wrap the Agilas around his little finger, which he successfully did by taking advantage of Cardo’s sincerity. But he didn’t do it all by himself. There’s his wife Lolita (Rosanna Roces), whispering temptations in his ear. She kept on nagging him about their plan to sell out the Agilas. Lucas (Joseph Marco) tried to prick Armando and Lolita’s conscience but failed; even his brother Samuel was blinded by money.

In the next scenes, we see the assassins’ execution of their plans. Armando’s order was to guard the mansion and hold the Agilas captive. But Lucas ruined his evil games by alerting the Agilas and helping them escape. Only one Agila didn’t make it. Lolo Delfin (Jaime Fabregas) was held captive after he let the others leave ahead of him and he was shot by Omar (John Wayne Sace), the silent traitor who wished to avenge his wife and brother's death.

Armando found out Omar’s true intentions to take his revenge on the Agilas but he also killed him. He then surrendered Lolo Delfin to Lily (Lorna Tolentino), who thought of using the exalted police general to lure Cardo.

Lolo Delfin’s attempted escape unleashed Armando’s inner demon. He tortured the helpless old man and dug a knife into his body. Before he was able to completely kill Lolo Delfin, Armando hurried to meet Cardo, who was then oblivious to the betrayals that ensnared his comrades and beloved grandpa.

Lolo Delfin managed to get up and buy Cardo enough time to escape, costing him his life.
