We may not know yet the story of his character Capt. Adrian Jimenez in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, but fans of Jerome Ponce are probably well-aware that he’s currently happy and very much in love with her girlfriend, social media influencer-actress Sachzna Laparan.

Their romance may have met with controversies due to their past relationships, but the two apparently just brushed those all off and blessed the Instagram feeds of their supporters with their lovely photos together, such as the ones we included in this gallery.

Not much was written yet about their relationship, which had left fans and showbiz onlookers wondering how their love story started. Thus, Sachzna reminisced about it through one of the vlogs she uploaded on her YouTube channel in August 2021.

According to her, it all started during her guesting in a Sunday noontime variety show, in which he was also a guest performer. That encounter was a case of “hate at first sight” as he allegedly told her that she’s “ma-attitude” because of a little dressing room mix-up. They then got to work together in a comedy program, where they became friends and grew closer.

She truly appreciated how he made efforts to bond with her friends and family, especially during her anxiety attacks. With the joy and comfort that he has brought into her life, as well as helping her to become a better version of herself and even at work, she has nothing but gratitude to her now “mahal”.

The social media influencer went on to share that they’re currently living in the same subdivision, after she and her family transferred to a house near his, which they only found out later on. This has made it easier for them to see and reach one another.

And last May 11, their supporters were delighted when they marked their first anniversary as a couple, which they celebrated by posting photos of one another and of them together on IG, as well as going on a lovely dinner date.
