We’ve heard different groups boldly call themselves the final nail in the coffin of Cardo Dalisay (Coco Martin)’s Task Force Agila in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Yet we also know it’s impossible to beat or even just be on a par with the squad, so most of those daring challengers ended up getting killed by the Agilas’ giant claws and a few are still trying to bounce back.

Armando (John Estrada)’s team, however, appears like a worthy opponent. Although Task Force Agila is still ahead in some ways, the group of farmers-turned-assassins is no doubt as badass and skilled.

Before you choose your fighters – is it Team Cardo or Team Armando? – let’s assess their strong points via these behind-the-scenes photos.

Looking into their backstories, the group has the same motivation to avenge the poor and powerless. We all know Cardo and the Task Force Agila’s journey as cops and public servants who left their posts to expose the true faces of corruption in the government.

Armando (John Estrada)’s faction, on the other hand, is composed of farmers who suffered from the greedy Don Ignacio (Tommy Abuel), who ruthlessly stole their lands leading to bloodshed. The series of misfortunes planted seeds of wrath in these farmers’ hearts and it grew into a strong desire for revenge. Like Cardo’s team, they also vowed to protect small people from avaricious men.

When it comes to weapons, Armando’s group has more advanced machinery funded by their underground activities. Armando’s team works as gunmen for influential people – something that Cardo would have to discover soon.

What the Agilas lack in firearms, they make up for in sharp strategies like how they managed to escape from the police force including the Black Ops in a recent encounter.

They have different leadership styles. Although Task Force Agila depends mostly on Cardo, they also seek the opinion of the other high-ranking officials in their team – General Delfin Borja (Jaime Fabregas), General Diana Olegario (Angel Aquino), Major Victor Basco (Raymart Santiago), and Major Roxanne Opeña (Shaina Magdayao). The fact that they’re composed of outstanding police and military officers makes them the dream team.

As the leader of his battalion, Armando always has the final say, although his wife Lolita (Rosanna Roces), daughter Mara (Julia Montes), and the brothers Samuel (Michael Flores), and Lucas (Joseph Marco) work closely with him.
