''The power of expectation is the secret source to successful and profitable trading,'' said Greg Secker, Chief Executive Officer of Learn to Trade.

Fresh from Melbourne, Australia, the currency trader recently headlined a seminar in Manila, in what would be another stop to his 20-city convention tour around the world, launching the Lifestyle Trader Challenge to each one.

Attended by trading novices and experienced investors, both local and foreign, the event highlighted the key aspects of the currency trading industry, demonstrated revealing strategies, and invited spectators to generate skills for successful and sustainable wealth creation.

Financial Independence

Recognized as one of the top professional forex traders in the world, Secker acknowledges the value of being ''perfectly and financially independent'' as a commodity that everyone must have.

Throughout Secker's 24 years as a professional trader, he said that attaining it lies greatly on the mindset, and knowing what one wants.

People enter the industry for different reasons which could be any or a combination of the following: additional income stream, never having to work again, paying mortgage early, clearing off debts, or improving inconsistent current currency trading results.

Whatever the reason is, filling the blanks to the questions ''What do you want?'' and ''Why do you want it?'' is the first step to getting closer to one's ambition.

''The brain doesn't care about what you like or what you don't like. You have to consciously pick the direction you want to go,'' because as the millionaire master trader explained, the outcome is driven by ''aspirations of making personal wants based on personal circumstances.'' He added, ''Write down your goals so that coaches can coach you to your goal.''

Furthermore, Secker belabors on the impact of belief transferage through surrounding oneself with successful people, ''Spend time in the company of people who are already doing the very thing you desire to do that you haven't mastered.''

Secker says, ''All human beings ensure how they behave is consistent with who they think they are; congruent with who they are,'' which is what makes belief transferage vital—it ''impacts the action, which in turn impacts the resources, and consequently impacts the results.''

While Secker takes pride in the tried and tested systems, and strategies he and his team practices, he says ''it is not the systems. It is not the technology. It is the individual,'' further adding, ''strategies really do work—the rest is up to the person sitting on the chair.''

''Those who know what they want are more likely to succeed than those who are focused on the tool alone,'' said Secker.

The Greg Secker Foundation Philippines

After supertyphoon Yolanda devastated the country, Secker and his team have put up the Greg Secker Foundation Village for more than 500 families in Lemery, Iloilo, one of the vicinities greatly affected by the tragedy.

The Secker's foundation was able to help bring the survivors' lives back in place, and provide initiatives for sustainable living.

''You don't give people a home, you provide them with life,'' the Secker said.

The non-profit organization is responsible of providing education on health, wealth, entrepreneurship, leadership, and life skills to leverage lifelong careers.

Secker ensures that the commitment he has for Filipinos does not end with the formation of this village, as he continuously stays active in lending a hand to other organizations around the country. This time around, the master coach visited the RRCY Davao (Regional Rehabilition Center for the Youth/Boys' Town).

Learn Forex™ Program

Under Learn to Trade's 16 years of curated mastery in currency trading, the Learn Forex™ Program rises as a sought-after curriculum to cultivate and gather in-depth financial literacy for overhead identification and comprehension on setups in the market.

The Learn Forex™ Program is a two-day immersion course arranged to transform ordinary traders to educated players in the market. Experts are handpicked to coach students on a one-on-one basis, allowing customized strategies to materialize to fit distinctive personal goals.

It teaches the discipline to manage a low risk of losses, and to stay serious, decisive, and committed even when contingencies occur; not counting them as setbacks. In Secker's words, ''failure is not getting it wrong. Failure is stopping and giving up.''

Program freshman Jose Gabriel Alcaraz says he is positive and firm with his choice to go through the intensive training.

He said, ''these days, it is not wise to have just one job. As millennials, we can do multitasking. So in this way, I am just taking advantage on the given opportunities.''

The 29-year-old architect says it is his way to earn a steady income and get away from the dilemma of waiting for clients, while being in a tight pool of competitors in his field of work.

As a parting exercise, Secker asked the spectators to repeat the following statement: ''I promise to change the label I used to describe me if it does not support my future.''
