Christmas is celebrated in the Philippines on a grand scale. Beginning September to December people start to put up decorations, shop for Christmas gifts for all their family and friends, and start preparing for the Noche Buena (Christmas dinner). There are even Christmas parties left-and-right. The fun, celebration, and gift giving never ends when it is Christmas in the Philippines.

So, to join the festivities and to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year, an international fast food chain company offers a new attraction for its customers that will make their stores feel a lot like Christmas.

McDonald's Philippines puts up a grand Christmas Lights show, but this year not only will drive-thru customers enjoy the scene but also their dine-in and take-out customers will be entertained and experience their special gift of happiness.

"Now that more people are able to go out, we wanted to recreate that experience but make it bigger and better by also making available the light show to more people including those who are dining in and ordering for take-out, so that more people can experience the festiveness of the light show," shares Katrina Lee Chua, National Marketing Manager, McDonald's Philippines.

Their first branch to have a grand Christmas lighting show is located in U.N. Avenue, Manila, and more of their stores will also have their very own Christmas lighting show including those in:

• Tagaytay Calamba Road, Cavite
• Savano Park, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan
• San Fernando Junction, Pampanga
• Mambugan, Antipolo, Rizal
• NLEX Drive and Dine, Valenzuela

McDonald's also created a special holiday menu to complete the Christmas experience and to make it more memorable for their customers.

McDonald's O, Christmas Treats! – their holiday treats menu includes: a sweet, savory, and crispy McCrispy Hamonado Sandwich which can be paired with a drink – Speculoos Cookie Frappe, and for dessert customers can order both Coffee Caramel McFlurry, and their Speculoos Cookie McFlurry.

As McDonald's aims to share the light this season, they also awaken the spirit of sharing with CSR initiatives through their charity of choice, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). They will be sharing the gift of smiles to less-privileged children in cities all over the country through their Donation Drive where they will be giving away 1,000,000 Happy Meal books and toys.
