Contrary to belief that achieving showbiz popularity is easy and quick, young actor and model Tony Labrusca said that his rise to fame was challenging, and had many ups and downs.

After failing to reach the finals in the talent search "Pinoy Boyband Superstar," to getting a role in the the primetime series "La Luna Sangre", to signing a fresh contract with Star Magic Circle, Labrusca's pursuit of his dreams was far from easy.

Prior to entering show business, the actor was a wanderer, he said. His lifestyle while still living in Canada influenced him to embrace changes and face challenges on his own.

Living in the urban city as a youngster, Labrusca said he was forced to learn how to innovate, and try to discover a way to reach for his dreams.

The 22-year-old actor shared his story following a new partnership with one of the world's leading denim brands Lee, which launched a movement to promote freedom in motion and in style for urban dwellers and active men like Labrusca.

Dubbed "Move Your Lee," the project aims to give busy urban dwellers like Labrusca the means to adapt quickly to the needs of different situations.

Labrusca, for example, is into acting and singing, but also does gymnastics and pole dancing to keep limber--his clothes would have to be able to adjust to a busy man's shifting situations.

With his schedule, the actor shared how important it is to maintain a celebrity look without sacrificing comfort while doing events, or shoots for the day.

"Being part of 'Move Your Lee' means boldly embracing [changes] and capturing different moments in a fashionable manner and a joyful attitude," Labrusca said.

To promote freedom of movement while wearing a good pair of jeans, Lee launched new fashion pieces that are uniquely designed for an active and contemporary lifestyle.

One of the newest collections include revamped version of Lee’s 101 designs, which are known for the "true blue legacy" jeans.

According to the company, the Lee 101+ collection represents its 127 years in the business which has been promoting the dyed-in-the-denim jeans ever since.

Upgrades in the collections are seen in the jeans' unique trims, selvedge fabric that resists unravelling at the edges, special buttons, zippers, anniversary labels, and a hidden message that is not repeated in another pair of jeans.

Also part of the new release is Lee’s Urban Riders collection which is inspired by modern cyclists around the world who believe riding is an art with the road as their canvas.

The items in this collection allow unrestricted movement in the summer or on rainy days. It boasts of a cooling technology that insulates the body when needed and keep one feeling fresh all day.
