Showbiz newcomers like Bianca de Vera, who portrays Pat in 2 Good 2 Be True, are always subject to scrutiny. People are quick to make assumptions, which is why Bianca takes to her YouTube channel to give fans a better idea of what she’s like.

In her latest vlog episode, Bianca reacts to assumptions about her while demonstrating her daily makeup routine. One of the topics she discussed was about her being allegedly a snob. Celebrities are often tagged as such, especially when they have strong facial features like Bianca. She denies this theory, though, “I think for most people, I can come off as snob maybe because of how my face looks. Most people say maybe sa mata or maybe I have this what they call RBF (Resting B*tch Face). But honestly, parang, I feel like when you get to talk to me naman, hindi na magiging gano’n, so parang, don’t judge a book by its cover.”

She’s ‘maarte’ only when it comes to clothes and makeup, “Kasi I’m the only child. I’m the only girl and I always enjoy everything in pink. My whole room is pink. I’ve always loved headbands and ribbons. I think that’s just a personal preference.” But her being ‘maarte’ doesn’t mean she has a diva attitude, “Hindi naman ako maarte to the point na choosy ako. Hindi ako gano’n. I’m always down to do anything, maybe sobrang pa-girl lang ako.”

It’s not true that she’s high-maintenance. She prefers simple picnics and street food to fancy restaurants when going out with friends and likely when she starts dating in the future. She, therefore, denies the assumption that she doesn’t eat street food, saying ‘kwek-kwek’ and 'kikiam' are her favorites and that her dad used to take her out on ‘isaw’ dates.

Although she tends to be shy at first, Bianca likes making new friends and “mahilig ako dumaldal.” She exposes her ‘kalog’ side once she feels comfortable with the person.

We also learned that she’s naturally optimistic, “I think no matter how good or bad the situation is, I think everything happens for a reason and that it will bring you to somewhere God plotted you to be.” This makes her quite a Pat Fajardo in real life. It’s just that Pat is ten times more hyper than Bianca.

“Madaling kiligin?” False! Although she has to learn the art of ‘kilig’ as part of acting, in reality, she’s not one to easily blush. “Siguro it’s better if you don’t let your kilig get the best of you kasi baka masaktan ka lang.” She then borrowed Nanay Margie (Gelli de Belen)’s ‘hugot’ line: “Kilig moderately!”

Coffee lover? Confirmed! She used to consume up to five cups of coffee a day, resulting in acid reflux, which she thankfully managed with the help of ginger tea. Bianca said she’s no picky eater, so her parents had no problem feeding her vegetables.

Bianca has a good-looking mom, thus netizens assume that she's ‘anak ng artista'. She clarified, “I posted a TikTok of my mom several times before and akala nilang lahat artista siya. Sabi ko, ‘Ha? Hindi’ My mom, mukha lang siyang artista pero hindi siya artista. My mom is just so pretty and I’m proud of that.”

With a plump pout like hers, people assume that she had lip injections. That’s false, but she’s flattered to hear such comments because it only means she has gorgeous lips, which she got from her dad. Interestingly, one of her hacks for fuller lips is eating spicy food, “’Yung lasa, I just learned to love it. Pero the main reason kung bakit ko siya nagustuhan is kasi ‘pag kumakain ka ng spicy food, most especially ramen, girl, instant lipstick ‘yan kasi mamamaga ‘yung lips.” That’s why she usually eats ramen before leaving the house to hang out with friends.

She didn’t lie about her height, either, saying she only stands 5’2,” contrary to assumptions about her being tall.

After reading the comments about her, Bianca showed off her minimalist daily makeup look that can be achieved by using only skin tint, concealer, powder, blush, and mist.
