Fake-crying is second nature to Helena, so she was able to manipulate the board of Horizon Grand for a time. But her ploy was destroyed by Eloy (Daniel Padilla)’s appointment as the company’s new CEO after they confirmed his relation to Lolo Hugo (Ronaldo Valdez). When she was close to getting exposed because of Eloy and Ali (Kathryn Bernardo)’s hunches, she figured it isn’t enough to hide in plain sight. She needs to level up her tactics. Proving that villains don’t miss an opportunity, Helena asked Jill (Alyssa Muhlach) to accept the offer to work as Eloy’s personal assistant. Now she has a spy right inside the enemy’s camp.

Helena found a new enemy in Diego, who threatened to spill her secrets to Ali. When Diego said he keeps evidence of Helena’s wickedness in videotapes, the latter falls back on her Plan B. She asked her minions to hide Diego’s whereabouts and helped her elude Ali and Eloy’s suspicion.

Tables turned when Helena was found unconscious and injured in the parking area. Based on her statement to the police, she was confronted and stabbed multiple times by Atty. Ramon Evangelista (Raul Montesa). The CCTV footage caught Helena declaring her loyalty to Lolo Hugo, saying she loves her brother despite their unpleasant relationship. Lolo Hugo watched the video and felt guilty for how he treated her.

The CCTV footage shows that Atty. Evangelista likely attacked Helena with a knife. Helena’s cry for help can be heard in the background. But it turns out everything was strategically orchestrated. Flashback scenes reveal that Evangelista studied the exact orientation of surveillance cameras, so the video won’t capture Helena’s self-laceration.

She is confident as long as her teammates are doing the dirty work for her, like her newly recruited minion Joey (Kempee de Leon), Ali’s estranged father. Jay reaching out to Ali is just part of his tasks for Helena. Apparently, some people won’t even flinch about hurting their own family for money.

Meanwhile, she’s still bent on stealing the CEO position from Eloy, currently at work with Carlos (Franco Laurel) in sabotaging Eloy’s ongoing partnership project with Japanese investor Mr. Watanabe.
