Actress Yassi Pressman took to social media a heartfelt message for her partner, Camarines Sur Governor Luigi Villafuerte, as they celebrated their first anniversary as a couple on Thursday, September 19.

On her Instagram page, Yassi posted a video compilation of the couple's getaway as she wrote her message to her “bubba”.

“you & me 🌎 how did i get so lucky? I found someone so driven and dedicate to his work for the people ~ who went out of his way to make this memorable trip happen for the following reasons; to slowdown and appreciate how beautiful this world is, most especially, to help us realize how blessed we are to be living in it and we shouldn’t be wasting our time not spending every moment with people that we love and care about,” Yassi said.

Yassi then shared how their anniversary trip was something that gave the two time to enjoy and live life beyond their busy schedules.

“you don’t get to meet people with this kind of vision everyday and oftentimes life in the city gets so sooooo busy that we forget to actually....just....live :’),” she added.

The actress then expressed her gratitude to the politician.

“@vincenzo.luigi you are the man who looks after everyone, including myself, and i couldn't be more grateful to have you as my bubba—spending our first anniversary together 🤍,” she remarked.

Yassi then shared that she would be posting a vlog from their anniversary trip, saying, “PS: stay tuned for the youtube vlog! this trip is truly something else and i cant wait for you guys to see why ✨”

“PPS: my heart is SO happy. you make me whole. I LOVE YOU Bubby. 🤍,” she continued.

Camarines Sur Governor Luigi also posted a carousel of photos where the couple went nature tripping in Bhutan.

“happy anniversary my love! everyday is an adventure with you and I can’t wait to conquer more mountains together! you’re my mona lisa bubbapie! I love you 🫶🏽😘,” Governor Luigi wrote.

Yassi replied, “to my sweetest hero, I LOVE YOU FOREVER 😭🤍.”

She added, “everyday i wake up thankful to the Lord that I have you in my life 😭 i love you so much thank you for all my cuddles and kisses ❤️❤️❤️.” 

Fans, celebrity friends, and personalities also expressed their greetings for the couple in the comment section.

“Happy anniversary love love for the both of you 😍🤍,” social media personality Zeinab Harake said.

A fan also expressed, “I’m so happy to see you now Yass, expressing your genuine Love and JOY to someone that you be with at this time😍you and gov were lucky for each other❤️🙏.”

A netizen also speculated that Yassi’s surprise on her upcoming vlog might be the couple’s engagement, saying, “You said Yes, didn't you?❤️❤️😢Happy for you Yassss and congratulations to you both❤️Wedding bells😍 Bubby for me, the hints are clear, just waiting for the vlog ❤️🔥.”

In August last year, Yassi and Governor Villafuerte first sparked dating rumors weeks after Yassi confirmed her split from ex-fiancé Jon Semira. The two were then seen together and publicly showed their love for each other, which became a trending topic online.

In February this year, Yassi then posted on her social media page a video of Governor Villafuerte calling her “love of his life.”

“aysuuuus namaaan my heart 🥹🫶🏻you’re the sweetest @vincenzo.luigi 😭😭😭,” Yassi said in a caption.

Yassi also dismissed the rumors speculating about their split in July and reiterated that it will "never" happen.
