Korean singer 10CM, who is the voice behind numerous hit K-Drama theme songs, graced the It's Showtime stage on Monday, September 2.

In the show, 10CM performed the song "Spring Snow," which is the OST of the popular Korean series Lovely Runner.

"Thank you for inviting me. Coming here, I did not expect this energy. But it's more than what I expected, so thank you so much for welcoming me," the singer remarked after his performance in the noontime program.

On how he feels that he is the voice behind popular K-Drama theme songs, the singer replied: "It's overwhelming all the time when I see the fans welcoming me. Since I am here in Showtime I get to experience it."

The Korean singer expressed his gratitude to the Filipino fans for supporting his first Manila concert titled "Closer To You" last August 31.

"Thank you very much madlang people for the warm welcome and for watching my first ever concert in Manila at the Newport Performing Arts Theater and also for supporting my music especially your favorite K-Drama theme songs," he stated.

He went on: "I really appreciate your love and support. To all my followers who love my music, my Asian tour will soon be in Taipei, Macau, Hong Kong and Jakarta. Thank you for inviting me, It's Showtime family."

10CM also performed his favorite OPM song "Palagi" by TJ Monterde in It's Showtime. 

Aside from Lovely Runner, 10CM is also the voice behind popular soundtracks of other hit Korean series including Crash Landing On You, Hotel del Luna, and Queen of Tears.

In a previous interview with Billboard Philippines, 10CM shared his process when it comes to choosing a soundtrack to sing.

"Fortunately, I was lucky enough to participate in a lot of popular K-Dramas. I guess I’m so lucky because almost all of the theme songs for the K-Dramas I sing for end up becoming popular. Yet at the same time, I also like the songs that really suit me. I choose the song based on whether the song will suit me when I sing it, or whether I feel that I can contribute to the K-drama," he said.
