Maki released the music video for his new song "Namumula" on Friday, August 30.

The singer starred in the video with It's Showtime Onilne host Jannah Chua.

"'Namumula' is a song for those irresistibly drawn to red flags," the description in the video reads. "It highlights the drama of being torn between what the brain tells us and what the heart desires."

The music video, which was produced by Tarsier Records, has already reached more than 321K views as of this writing.

Fans online were quick to react to the music video.

"This MV is very demure, very mindful, very cutesy, very mapagmahal ng red flag!" one fan commented.

"Napakaganda ng tunog, napakahusay ng tugma at tunog," another fan wrote.

"Namumula" is Maki's follow up to his mega hit single "Dilaw."

Aside from his new single, Maki achieved a massive milestone recently as his two-day concert at the New Frontier Theater on November 29 and 30 got sold out.

In past interview with ABS-CBN News, Maki highlighted that staging a concert was one of his dreams.

"Ito po talaga 'yung sinasabi kong dream ko," he remarked.

Maki also recently made history when his song "Dilaw" became the first track to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart.

"Celebrating this along with all the OPM artists that are on top of the charts! I'm just so thrilled and glad that OPM is thriving, very much alive, and that I get to share my part as an artist in this generation of Filipino music. Mabuhay ang OPM!" he posted on social media following the feat.

He added: "Being at the top is only the bonus. Maraming salamat sa pagtangkilik ng musikang Pilipino!"

In his "Dilaw" music video, Maki partnered up with BINI Maloi.

"Nag-meet kami ni Maloi sa mall show nila and I got the chance to talk to her about stuff, about life, about songwriting and for some reason kasi, ewan ko ba sa lahat ng tao talaga si Maloi lang 'yung naisip ko na pwedeng mag-embody ng character dun sa 'Dilaw,'" Maki shared, explaining how Maloi became part of the music video in an interview in TFC's BRGY.

He added: "I'm super happy rin kasi si Maloi mahilig din siya sa arts eh so nag-share din kami ng sentiments on our way to Pampanga to shoot the music video and kitang-kita 'yung magic [ng] buong music video kasi lahat kami talaga na-embody kung ano 'yung dapat naming dapat namin ipakita sa music video."
