Pinoy Big Brother host Bianca Gonzalez took a trip down memory lane after she visited her first work area in the ABS-CBN compound.

On her social media page, Bianca recalled her experience being a trainee writer with the Kapamilya network.

“Brainstormer and trainee writer: this was my first ever job in ABS-CBN and here on the 13th floor of ELJ was my first official day at work! Brings back so many memories being here again after a looong time,” the television host shared.

Bianca then shared how she first had her part-time job on the former television show Y-Speak during her college years.

“It was in 2003, I was a 3rd year Comm student in college, and I decided to take on a part time job, thanks to the encouragement of then-writer Garlic Garcia. After my class, I came straight from Katipunan and knocked on the door of the meeting room,” she shared, recalling how she was wearing a sando, pants and flip flops at that time.

Bianca also expressed her gratitude for experiencing working behind the camera, saying, “I may have spent just one year behind the scenes before the door of working on cam opened, but to this day and for the past two decades as a host, I have always been so interested and involved in learning the creative and production process of every show I am lucky to have been part of!”

She also shared that despite being a well-known television personality, the Kapamilya host still has the eagerness to learn more about the industry she’s been working on for the past two decades.

“Tbh, I may get to wear fancier clothes and more glamorous make up for work now, but I am still exactly the same shy, curious, observant, eager-to-learn sando-wearing girl I was back then 💫,” she added.

Previously, Bianca shared how her hosting journey started 20 years ago with actor-host Ryan Agoncillo.

“I was finishing up college when I was given the incredible opportunity to be a host for Review Night on Cinema One, alongside THE Ryan Agoncillo. It was a movie review talk show, a dream come true of a dream I never even knew I had as a Comm major and aspiring filmmaker,” Bianca wrote.

“After 20 years, it feels amazing to still get the chance to do new things, to be at the helm of new shows, and to get front row seats to the growth and journey of our most well-loved stars,” she continued.

Bianca is currently one of the hosts of the eleventh season of the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother with Robi Domingo, Melai Cantiveros, Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee, and Alexa Ilacad.

She is also the host for a magazine talk show, BRGY, that is available on the TFC YouTube channel and on the iWantTFC app.

“This show has been so much fun but also one of, if not THE most challenging job in my hosting career so far. Doing this show has showed me that after two decades in the industry, I still have so much to learn and so much to improve on, and now more than ever, dedicated ako to keep doing better!!! 🥹,” she said, sharing how challenging and exciting hosting a show by herself.

“Hindi biro yung daily talk show as solo host — uuyyy as in napaka-challenging mag-research at aral about each guest, to studying my script well, to fully listening and staying on my toes for five episodes a week. Mahirap na masaya!!!!” she added.
