P-Pop boy group SB19 just bagged the Favorite Asian Act at the 2024 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. They bested other nominees such as K-pop group ENHYPEN, Japanese girl group NiziU, Malaysian singer Iman Troye, and Indonesian singer Tiara Andini to win the award.

With their win, SB19 follows in the footsteps of Jake Zyrus who won the same award back in 2012

Members of the boy group expressed their gratitude–– through a taped acceptance speech–– to everyone who made it possible for their success.

“Thank you so much for voting us as the Favorite Asian Act of Kids’ Choice Awards 2024. It’s such an honor to represent the Philippines. We appreciate all your love and support. Maraming maraming salamat po,” the members said.

In a separate post, SB19 shared their win with their loyal fans, A’TIN, who made the win possible through their votes.

“To our A'TIN, this recognition is not just for us—it is yours too. Your support fuels our passion every day. Let's continue chasing our dreams together, not just for us, but for P-POP and for the country,” the caption went.

Fans sent their congratulatory messages in the comment section of the post and shared how proud they are of SB19’s win. 

“You deserve it, mga sir! Congratulations!! 🔥 Cant wait na mabuhusan kayo ng slime,” a fan wrote.

“MABUHAY ang Pinoy Pop Kings!!! Our MAHALIMA deserves international recognition. I also claim this victory; the voting marathon has paid off. Kudos once again to SB19 and the Marathoners A'tin,” another fan added.
