In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Kylie Padilla confirmed her relationship status, revealing she is currently taken. 

During the “Fast Talk” segment of the show, Boy Abunda asked, “Single or Ready to Mingle?” to which Kylie replied, “Taken.”

When asked to elaborate, Kylie shared the journey of her new relationship. She confirmed that she was taken, and added that it was both challenging and rewarding: “Pinaglaban ko din ‘to. It taught me to trust myself more and not be too scared to be myself.”

Kylie expressed the balance she now experiences with having a partner outside the entertainment industry. “The best thing I love about it is may balance na ako ngayon. From my work life to my personal life. When I’m with my partner, I’m normal again. I’m just Kylie.”

Discussing the challenges, Kylie highlighted personal growth and self-awareness as key aspects of her relationship. “Kasi, nareveal sakin yung mga ugali ko and yung mga ayokong tanggapin. This relationship really taught me to be humble and to face my imperfections.”

Kylie also touched upon her co-parenting relationship with ex-husband Aljur Abrenica. “Yes, we co-parent,” she confirmed, noting their frequent communication for the sake of their children. “Every time na kukunin niya yung mga bata, we talk.”

Reflecting on past relationships, Kylie mentioned a significant period of self-discovery after her previous breakup. “I lost myself talaga. I was so full of anxiety, di ko kilala yung sarili ko.”

Balancing motherhood and her career remains a daily challenge for Kylie. “It never stops, the questioning myself. I just wanna be present, like really present with my kids. But since single mom ako, I have to think about work, I have to think about a business, a small business. 

“Sometimes feeling ko, worth it ba lahat ng oras na nawawala sa pagiging nanay. I want to be present for everything, but then creative ako eh, so I need to work din. It’s an everyday battle.”

Kylie also shared her past aspirations of becoming an action star, inspired by her father, Robin Padilla. “Nag-training talaga ako sa Thailand. I wanted to get into action. But then, nabuntis ako.”

Kylie’s journey, from aspiring action star to a balanced life with her new partner, highlights her resilience and commitment to personal growth. Her latest role as Hannah in Asawa Mo, Asawa Ko also brings her joy, allowing her to explore different facets of her acting career.
