"This is our very first adaptation of a Nippon TV series and we are very grateful to Nippon TV for entrusting us with the rights for the Filipino version. It's a beautiful story that really centers around the importance of family and motherhood and promises to be a very emotionally engaging and heartwarming series that will deeply resonate with the Filipino audience and the non-Filipino audiences worldwide," Cory remarked.

Meanwhile, Nippon TV expressed their confidence in the capabilities of ABS-CBN in delivering the story to the audiences in the Philippines.

"Congratulations to ABS-CBN on acquiring our script format Mother. We truly believe in ABS-CBN's production capability and that the Filipino audience will love the show," Nippon TV's Sally Yamamoto stated.

"Special talaga sa akin 'yung project kasi 'yun ang huling usap namin ni Sir Deo (Endrinal). 'Yung plan for Saving Grace is really big, ang ganda ng story, ang ganda ng lesson and story na gustong sabihin ng serye,” Julia stated in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

Julia admitted that she had apprehensions at first but it was Deo's words which gave her the courage to take on the project.

"Natakot ako. Kasi lahat naman po ng binibigay sa 'kin, napapaisip ako, kaya ko ba? 'Yun ang lagi kong question. Pero nung nakausap ko nga si Sir Deo, sabi niya, ‘Gawin mo ito, it’s for you’. Na-kampante na 'ko kasi siya 'yung… nandiyan naman siya lagi," she said.

Saving Grace marks the return of Julia Montes to primetime teleseryes.

Last year, Julia made her big screen comeback in the romance movie Five Breakups and a Romance alongside Alden Richards.
