The nation's girl group BINI was in disbelief following the massive successful debut of their new single "Cherry On Top."

"Hindi po namin in-expect kasi dati 'yung 100K [views] hirap na hirap na po kaming i-achieve' yun. Ngayon wala pang 24 hours, 3 million [YouTube] views na," BINI Stacey said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

BINI Gwen relayed that they were also surprised by the number of people who were waiting for the premiere of their music video on YouTube.

"'Yung last time iilan lang sila 'yung waiting before and ngayon tumalon siya ng 100K, thank you so much po," she said.

BINI Jhoanna admitted that they were nervous at first about what could be the reception of the audiences with this new song as it is in full English.

"To be honest po dito talaga kami pinaka-kinakabahan sa pag-release nito kasi parang ibang-iba siya eh. Natatakot po kami kasi from Tagalog songs tapos bigla kaming magfu-full English. Pero wow, nag-work siya,” she said.“Kailangan mo lang talaga mag-explore po and 'yun din naman 'yung sinasabi namin, this year is about exploring.”

BINI released "Cherry On Top" on July 11. In less than 24 hours, the song already hit 1 million Spotify streams.

It also landed the number one spot on iTunes in the Philippines and Singapore, No. 2 in the United Arab Emirates, and No. 3 in Saudi Arabia.

It was also recently announced that BINI will be performing at KCON in Los Angeles, California as the special lineup for the M Countdown Preshow at the music festival on July 27.

Management also dropped the news that the Nation's Girl Group is set to release new albums soon.

In a past interview, ABS-CBN Music head Roxy Liquigan shared that the group will be releasing two albums for international and local markets.

"Marami kaming plans for BINI. We are gathering songs na rin for their fourth album. May local album pa rin naman. Separate dapat pa 'yun, for the Filipino audience,” he stated.
