Korean actor Wi Ha-jun is set to return to the Philippines for a fan meeting in Manila this September.

Ovation Productions announced that Ha-jun will be staging his "A Wively Day" fan meeting at the New Frontier Theater on September 15.

Aside from Manila, Ha-jun will also be bringing the fan meeting to different cities across Asia including Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok,  and Jakarta.

Tickets for the Manila leg of his fan meeting will be available on ticketnet.com.ph. Ticket prices will be announced soon.

Ha-jun previously visited Manila in May 2023 for a fan meeting for a local clothing brand.

At the press conference of his previous event in the country, Ha-jun was all praises for the warmth of the Filipino people.

"The first impression that I had when I arrived here in the Philippines is, of course, the warm weather, and together with this, the warm eyes of the people who are very welcoming here in the Philippines," he remarked.

The Korean actor added that he wants to visit the popular spots in the country in the future.

"I want to visit Boracay and Cebu. Have some vacation for myself, time for myself," he said.

The actor also talked about how starring in the global hit Netflix series Squid Game changed the trajectory of his career.

"After Squid Game, there were a lot of changes in my life. First of all, I was able to try a lot of things that I wasn't able to do before. And I can say that through Squid Game, I got the opportunity to sit here together with you and work with Bench as well," he said.

He also relayed that his character in the series was the one which is closest to his personality.

"I think the role that is most similar to my personality would be Hwang Jun-ho of Squid Game. Because when I was preparing for this role, the people around me were telling me, 'Wow, you're really similar to that role.' And I also agree with that because I myself, I also have this sense of justice," he stated.

Aside from Squid Game, Ha-jun previously starred in Something in the Rain, Romance Is a Bonus Book, 18 Again, Little Women, Worst of Evil, and The Midnight Romance in Hagwon.
