The nation's girl group BINI is set to release international and local albums. This was the revelation of ABS-CBN Music head Roxy Liquigan.

As BINI ventures onto the global scene, the Kapamilya executive shared that they have been working on an Extended Play (EP) for a year now.

"We flew in writers from the US, producers and nagkaroon ng isang music camp. So doon na-produce itong kantang ‘Cherry on Top’, at marami pang ibang kanta. Hindi lang ‘Cherry on Top’ ang gagawin ng BINI,” he revealed in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

At the same time, BINI is also working on their fourth studio album which is aimed for the global audience. An album aimed for the local audience will also be in the works.

"Marami kaming plans for BINI. We are gathering songs na rin for their fourth album. May local album pa rin naman. Separate dapat pa 'yun, for the Filipino audience,” he shared.

BINI released their latest single "Cherry On Top" on Thursday, July 11.

After a few hours of its release, the music video already hit 1 million views on YouTube. The song also reached the number one spot on iTunes Philippines.

The song is produced by Skylar Mones and Shintaro Yasuda.

Recently, the nation's girl group also reached 7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, the first pop group in the Philippines to do so.

The group also staged their three-day sold-out concert last month at the New Frontier Theater which ran from June 28 to June 30.

"Nagfa-flash back sa amin 'yung message ni Direk Lauren [Dyogi]. Kami, nag-isip kami ... Hindi siya madali, and hindi siya biro—'yung Day 2 and Day 3 na almost three hours na show. Naisip naming girls na ang daming Blooms na hindi nakabili ng tickets, 'di ba, na gusto kaming mapanood pa," BINI leader Jhoanna said at the concert as she recalled on how they came to the decision of staging a three-night show.

The singer added: "Ayaw din naman naming ma-sacrifice 'yung quality ng show dahil nga three days. Pero hindi ko alam, parang lahat kami nag-agree kami sa isang desisyon, and alam kong hindi namin pinagsisihan, kasi we made it!"
