Diana, the ex-fiancée of late American R&B singer-songwriter Keith Martin, opened up about their love story when she joined the It's Showtime segment "EXpecially For You."

Diana shared that she was in a relationship with Keith for eight years.

"The first man in my life was the late Keith Martin, the singer," Diana relayed.

"Naka eight years (kami), it was a long relationship. Nag-break kami actually muna siguro couple of years tapos nagbalikan kami," she shared.

On what she thinks was the greatest gift that she received from Keith in their eight-long relationship, she revealed: "Greatest gift ni Keith? I would say, that boy over there. Our son."

She continued: "Yes greatest gift kasi, he's a product of love and kahit na nagkahiwalay kami, we really did our best to raise him together kahit malayo siya, siyempre mayroon rin pagkukulang pero lumaki siya na both my mom and dad are there and they loved me." 

Diana and Keith's son is now 16 years old.

When asked on how Keith proposed to her, Diana shared, "Parang sandali lang eh, kasi nakakatawa 'yung istorya niya kasi when he proposed, hindi kasya 'yung singsing."

She went on: "Hindi ko naisuot. Sabi niya, he will have it resized tapos hindi na niya naibalik hanggang sa nagkalimutan na parang ganun. I was very young non, I just graduated from college e, so siyempre may certain expectations ka sa buhay tapos nagka-anak na kayo, mas naging focus na 'yung kung paano niyo bubuhayin, papalakihin 'yung anak niyo and then si Keith, ano rin parang naging busy kasi he's an artist, so kung kung saan may opportunity mag-work, so kung abroad, abroad. So isa ako doon sa nag-encourage sa kaniya na hanggang sa unti-unti na alam niyo 'yun nalipasan na 'yung plans ng marriage nagkaroon na rin ng konting conflict hanggang sa hindi na natuloy."

Diana highlighted that she and Keith broke up amicably.

"Matagal na kaming hiwalay... In fact his remains are with us sa bahay kasi wala naman talagang family si Keith, kami lang 'yung family niya dito."

Keith passed away in 2022.
