"My two favorite content creators in one video. Sweet!" another fan said.

Nigel rose to popularity as Uncle Roger when he posted his first video portraying the character in July 2020 when he was sharing his reaction to an egg fried rice video. The clip became viral and helped establish Uncle Roger's presence on social media platforms. From YouTube, he started posting videos on TikTok and Instagram.

Abi and Uncle Roger met in the US where the former received the People’s Voice Winner award in the Food & Drink Category at The Webby Awards.

"WE WON!!! 🥹🏅🏆 It still feels so surreal receiving the People’s Voice Winner award in the Food & Drink Category at The Webby Awards! It was the first time I went to the US, and I am so grateful to have gone while representing the Philippines and every Filipino home cook out there," she posted on TikTok following her big win at the awards ceremony.
