BINI member Colet had a major fangirl moment when she met her idol Lay of EXO.

In a video shared by ABS-CBN Head of TV Production Lauren Dyogi on TikTok, Colet had the chance to not only meet Lay but also had an album of EXO signed by Lay.

"It's a dream come true!" BINI members exclaimed as they cheered for Colet.

Colet and the rest of the BINI members also had the chance to interact with Lay.

"How do you like the food here?" Lay asked the Filipino group.

"The food is good," BINI responded.

Lay replied: "Here's my city. I came from this town as well."

BINI was in China for the reality program Show It All, a survival program that showcases trainees from the entertainment company of Lay whose goal is to tbe next big girl group.

In the recent episode of the show, BINI performed their summer hit "Pantropiko."

“Pantropiko is a summer song,” BINI's Sheena told the audience following their performance.

Jhoanna added: “If you can’t go to the Philippines, we’ll bring the Philippines to you."

For their performance, BINI turned the stage into a beach-themed production. 

"We want them to feel like they’re on the beach [and] sipping some Piña Colada," Stacey remarked.

After the performance, Lay described BINI's performance as "amazing."

On April 20, BINI gained 3,072,456 monthly listeners on Spotify, making them the first ever P-pop to reach the said feat.

"We started this year with just a 100,000 monthly listeners and in just two months nasa 1.4 million na kami sobrang laking jump nito that's why it feels so unbelievable," BINI remarked in a past interview with ABS-CBN News at the Billboard Philippines Women in Music Awards.

On what they think contributed to the big leap in their monthly listeners on Spotify, the group remarked: "Definitely the music. Pinaka-nakatulong po sa amin ang 'Pantropiko.' Grabe po 'yung pag bloom po niya sa TikTok."
