At 55 years old, Dawn Zulueta remains one of the most beautiful women in Philippine showbiz.

Having turned another year older last March 4, Dawn has fully embraced aging naturally. “Aging is representative of all the wisdom one gains through the years,” she said. “I am not afraid of it. Instead, I embrace it.”

Like many people in 2020, Dawn didn’t have the chance to get her hair treated when the lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic were implemented.

"Well, there it is... how home schooling can make your hair turn white," she joked back then as her white hair began to grow out.

"Almost 3 inches of my silver hair is visible now," she continued. "I'm challenging myself not to do hair color while under quarantine/lockdown. Let's see how long I can bear it."

In 2021, she made the news for deciding not to dye her hair and deliberately going gray.

“Aye, ye curious cats, I’m going gray on purpose. In May last year, I posted a photo showing my sprouting silvers & wondered whether I was up for the challenge of going #aunaturale," she posted on Instagram then.

The actress also expressed how she was loving her silvery locks and embracing her “new normal.”

“No better hair colorist than Mother Nature. I am so pleased with the outcome... especially since I have cut it as short as I have always been dying to do but never could because of the demands of my work. Never mind the naysayers gonna naysay," she said.

To this day, she has tried to maintain the same outlook on aging naturally. “I am an advocate of aging gracefully and naturally. But that is only possible if one keeps healthy, happy and at peace.”

She emphasized, “Peace of mind is very important and reducing stress. Also, when you are happy and you give back to the people, the feeling you get from there is something you cannot equate from receiving luxuries or getting external validation such as an acting award.”

Dawn admittedly has a little help keeping herself looking great at 55. “I also take skincare seriously by eating healthy, keeping fit and active, having a positive outlook in life, and of course going to Dr. Issa Cellona regularly.”

“What I like about Dr. Issa is that she works with me to ensure that all my health and beauty goals are met, without having too much done. Her light-handed touch when it comes to beauty is discreet and flawless.”

Dermatologist Dr. Clarissa Cellona, who has a discreet practice located in Forbes Park Makati, described Dawn as one who “exudes beauty and confidence on and off screen.”

Through the years, Dawn has remained effortlessly beautiful while exuding an elegant air. With showbiz taking a backseat for now, Dawn has dedicated herself to being a wife and a mother.

As the wife of the Special Assistant to the President, Anton F. Lagdameo Jr., she has kept herself busy managing family and social affairs.

Last year, she went with her son Jacobo Antonio to New York to help him settle in as he began his college studies at Fordham University. She’s also frequently seen supporting daughter Ayisha Madlen who has been training in ballet.
