Content creator Vern Enciso and her husband, Ben Lim, are expecting their first child after almost three years of being married.

In their joint Instagram post, the couple announced their excitement now that their wish has finally come true.

“After 2 years… God finally led our baby to find our home 🤍,” Vern wrote in a post.

She added, “For the past two years, everyone around us seemed to get baby deliveries even if we tried so hard to get our own. We would pray and pray for our turn to hear that doorbell and there were days when it felt like it would never come.”

Vern then stated that she actually dreamed of their angel still having fun and waiting for the right time for him to go down and finally come into their lives.

“On those days , I would just imagine that our little baby was still a little cherub, busy playing with friends up there. I just prayed that when he was ready, he would easily find our home,” she continued.

Vern then revealed that they had already found out about her pregnancy last February.

“and almost 5 months ago, on Valentine’s Day, our doorbell finally rang 🤍,” she said.

In the vlog posted on their official YouTube channel, VernVerniece Enciso, the happy mom-to-be revealed their in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey where she and her husband traveled to Bangkok.

She then shared how she and her husband found out about her pregnancy.

“Happy Valentine’s Day, Dad!” Vern subtly revealed to her husband, where they both cried, realizing that her test came in positive.

The couple then told their families and celebrated the joyful moment after long years of waiting.

“To our baby, we have wanted you for so, so long. We have prayed for you, blew out birthday candles for you and wished in every 11:11, falling star and every new church we would go to. Every time I felt sad, I always imagined you were a little cherub up in the heavens, still busy playing with friends, and it wasn’t time for you to join our family just yet,” Vern said to their child.

She went on: “I always pray that when you are ready, you will easily find our house already filled with so much love with seven baby pet siblings so excited to meet you. Finally, the day has come for us to fetch you.”

Celebrities such as former Miss Universe Catriona Gray, Carla Abellana, Chie Filomeno, Alex Gonzaga, and other content creators and friends Kryz Uy, Camille Co, Bella Racelis, were among others who congratulated the happy couple.

“😭😭😭💕💕💕 so so happy for you guys,” Nicole Andersson commented.

“Crying 😭😭😭😭,” Vern’s sister, Verniece remarked. “I’m gonna love her/him so much 😭.”

Vern and Ben dated for nearly eight years, and maintained a long-distance relationship throughout their dating years, as Vern lived in Manila while Ben had business in Cebu.

In 2021, they got married and decided to settle in Cebu.

“It’s much slower, but I like this pace. It definitely helped with my anxiety. Other than food and shopping options, there’s not much of a difference,” Vern said in an interview with Keeta Ph.

Talking about their married life, the couple said that despite challenges, their life together became easier being with the right person.

“No, but in a good way — I never expected it to be this fun. We have our bad days just like any other couple, but it’s true that when you marry the right person, marriage makes you bloom and helps you become a better version of yourself,” she admitted.

“[It’s] easier when you marry the right person!” Ben added.
