Teen Vogue has named P-Pop girl group BINI as one of the 12 girl groups to watch in 2024.

In an article published by the magazine on May 24, the magazine highlighted how the group's song "Pantropiko" took the streaming world by storm as it already amassed more than 19 million views on YouTube and 54 million Spotify streams to date.

Teen Vogue also recognized how "Pantropiko" topped the Billboard Philippines chart while BINI's new single "Salamin, Salamin" landed the second spot on the chart.

Recently, BINI reached more than 5.2 million listeners on Spotify, the first P-Pop group to achieve the said milestone on the music platform.

The group credited their meteoric rise this summer to "Pantropiko" which became a big hit for the past months.

"Pinaka-nakatulong po sa amin ang 'Pantropiko.' Grabe po 'yung pag bloom po niya sa TikTok," the girl group said in a past interview.

BINI also performed on the international stage recently when they became part of the Chinese reality program Show It All.

The show is a survival program that showcases trainees from the entertainment company of EXO’s Lay Zhang whose goal is to create the next big girl group.

One of the songs that BINI performed in the show was "Pantropiko."

“Pantropiko is a summer song... We want them to feel like they’re on the beach [and] sipping some Piña Colada," the group said as they introduced the song to the audience prior to performing the song in the program.

In March, BINI received the Rising Star Award at the Billboard Philippines Women in Music.

"We are humbled and grateful po and siyempre gusto po naming magpasalamat sa Billboard Philippines for giving us a platform para mapakita pa po namin 'yung mga kaya pa po naming gawin," BINI said in their acceptance speech.
