Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is now married.

PEOPLE confirmed that the 20-year-old actress tied the knot with 22-year-old model Jake Bongiovi last weekend.

The Sun reported the wedding ceremony was a "very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows."

The publication said that a bigger ceremony will happen later this year in the US.

Millie confirmed her engagement to Jake, who is Jon Bon Jovi's son, in April 2023.

"I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all 🤍," she posted on her Instagram page upon announcing that they were engaged. The quote was a lyric from Taylor Swift's song "Lover."

In an interview in The Tonight Show in 2024, Millie revealed that Jake proposed to her while they went underwater diving.

"I was like, 8 a.m.? Dive? And he's telling me we're going to the same spot we usually go to. I'm like, 'It's boring, let's go somewhere new. He's like, 'No, we have to go to this spot,'" Millie recalled.

As they dived meters down the water, Jake then gave her a shell.

"I turn it over and it's a ring," she shared.

In an interview with Women's Wear Daily in 2023, Millie shared preparing for the wedding as such an exciting time of her life.

She also remarked that she wants to keep the details of her wedding as private as possible.

"I think probably drawing the curtains, just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once. And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me," she said.

The actress added: "So I feel it’s important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest."

Meanwhile, Jon Bon Jovi defended his son's decision to get marry early in an interview in Radio Andy in May 2023.

"I don't know if age matters, if you find the right partner and you grow together," he said.

The singer added: "Growing together is wise. I think that all of my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with and we like them all."
