Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes bravely defended herself when asked about what people assume about her and isn’t actually true. In an interview for the May cover of fashion magazine L’Officiel, the High Street actress shared that people misunderstand her actions and have painted her to be the bad person that she really isn't.

Andrea is one of the most heavily criticized actresses by some netizens on social media.

In the quick interview, the former child star stood her ground and asserted that there are many things that most people misunderstand her for.

"Lahat, char! Ang dami. Wait! Siguro... O masyado bang conceited to say na hindi masama 'yung ugali ko. I think I'm a good person. Parang pwede ko namang sabihin 'yun, 'di ba? I think I am,” she said.

“I'm not perfect but I'm not as bad as they paint me out to be,” she added.

Andrea reasoned out that she is the way she is in public due to her zodiac signs. She added that despite being called a snob in public, she thinks it’s the person’s “reflection of their actions” which she doesn’t have a say on.

“If ever ‘yun ‘yung tingin nila, ‘yun ‘yung lumalabas. I think as a water sign, I'm just a reflection of their actions. Like, for example, if kunyari may magsabi na suplada ako. Feeling ko mas nauna nila ako sinupladahan bago ko sila,” she continued.

In the same interview, the young actress talks about her decade long career in the industry and how it affected her both physically and mentally.

Meanwhile, Andrea’s latest drama, High Street, is now available for streaming on several Kapamilya platforms such as Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC, and Kapamilya Online Live on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.

High Street is the sequel to the successful teen drama, Senior High, and is set five years after the graduation of Northford High students.
