‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’ actor Kang Tae-oh to star in new K-Drama after military service

<p><em>Extraordinary Attorney Woo</em> lead star star Kang Tae-oh will be headlining a new drama series after being discharged from the military.</p><p>tvN announced on Tuesday, May 14, that the Korean actor will star in the series <em>Potato Research Institute</em> alongside actress Lee Sun-Bin.</p><p>According to a report by Naver as translated by Soompi, <em>Potato Research Institute</em> is a new romantic comedy set in a rural potato research facility.</p><p>Tae-oh will play So Baek-ho, a charming but ruthless businessman. She has 12 years of work experience and has been living a simple and peaceful life in the countryside until Baek-ho arrives and shakes things up.</p><p>Tae-oh admitted that he is quite nervous but ecstatic to return to acting again.</p><p>&quot;I am little nervous as this is my first project after I was discharged from the military, but I am more excited about being able to greet viewers again with a great project.
