Pinoy Big Brother and StarHunt will be coming back as confirmed by Lauren Dyogi during his Instagram Live on April 5.

Before he made the announcement, Direk Lauren already posted that he was going live at 5 p.m. to share some important news.

Firstly, he expressed his gratitude to the Blooms who supported BINI’s first solo concert, BiniVerse. According to the ticketnet sales, the tickets sold out in under two hours. In line with this, they added a second date to the show.

Direk Lauren then told fans clamoring for a MOA Arena or Araneta Coliseum concert venue that while that won’t be happening for now, it could happen in the future.

He then shared was that StarHunt auditions would be starting at the end of April. He mentioned that they are looking for two groups of auditionees: those who want to be part of Star Magic and those who want to be idol trainees. 

Direk Lauren reiterated that they’re looking for a new breed of young artists, and those that have the raw talent and the potential to be trained to become idols. 

He then confirmed the return of Pinoy Big Brother. “Magbubukas na ulit ang bahay ni Kuya,” he stated. Direk Lauren said that they will be welcoming a new batch of housemates in June and there will be four on-ground audition venues. 

The first round of auditions would be in Metro Manila, then in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Direk Lauren stated that the Manila auditions will be held on April 27 and 28.

To audition for StarHunt, you have to be 13 to 25 years old. For those who wish to be part of Pinoy Big Brother, you have to be 16 to 25 years old to audition.
