Star Magic and ABS-CBN Entertainment Production Head, Laurenti Dyogi, warned the public of fake Telegram and Viber accounts impersonating the talent agency head.

On his personal social media page, Direk Lauren posted the image of a fake account posing as the director and contacting several people, including artists and managers.

“BEWARE! Some person/s are posing as me and messaging artists and managers. I have no alternate cp number. Please do not engage,” Direk Lauren warned.

“If you receive a message, and you are unsure, send me a DM here, my official IG account,” he added.

In the posted screenshot by the Starmaker himself, the account was seemingly trying to contact artist by telling the person about a big project for him/her. The fake account also used Direk Lauren’s photo.

Star Magic also released a warning about certain mobile numbers that were being used to lure people.

“Star Magic would like to warn the public of the fake Telegram and Viber accounts posing as Star Magic and ABS-CBN Entertainment Production Head, Laurenti Dyogi, with the mobile numbers +639 670 352828 and +639 670354183,” they announced.

They went on: “If contacted, kindly report the account, and please do not entertain to avoid scams and misinformation of any kind. Thank you and stay vigilant, Kapamilya!”

Previously, ABS-CBN advised the public to be aware of scams and fraud through unauthorized auditions and casting calls for some Kapamilya shows.

On their social media pages, the Kapamilya network warned the public to be vigilant about what they see or read online or in-person regarding the auditions for Kapamilya reality program Pinoy Big Brother and the two Kapamilya series, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo and High Street.

“It has come to our attention that individuals are falsely posting and promoting auditions and casting calls for ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Big Brother (PBB), FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, and High Street," the network stated.

“We want to emphasize to the public that these private auditions and casting calls are not authorized, endorsed, or sanctioned by ABS-CBN,” they said.

ABS-CBN also clarified that there will be a scheduled official audition for the hit reality show and its talent management arm, Star Magic, in April and May.

“ABS-CBN is only holding auditions for Pinoy Big Brother and Star Magic on April 27 at Robinsons Novaliches, April 28 at Robinsons Las Piñas, and May 4 to 5 at KCC Mall of Gensan,” they announced.

They went on: “There will be separate on-ground auditions for Visayas and Mindanao, in addition to online auditions. Details for these auditions will be released soon.”

ABS-CBN also firmly denied the claims that there's an ongoing audition for FPJ’s Batang Quiapo and Senior High's upcoming sequel show, High Street

“No casting calls or auditions are being conducted for FPJ’s Batang Quiapo and High Street at this time,” they remarked.

“Your safety is important to us, Kapamilya. We ask everyone to exercise caution and refrain from engaging with unauthorized individuals claiming to hold auditions or casting calls on behalf of ABS-CBN,” they said.
