It’s Showtime host Cianne Dominguez and her family have filed charges against an individual for his alleged attempt to rape her last night, April 11. John Florendo, the father of the It’s Showtime host, took to Facebook to identify and warn everyone about the individual who did the alleged act.

The man, who is now under the custody of the Quezon City Police District 10, has been identified as Shervey S. Torno, also known as Ronnie Gray. He allegedly works at a gay bar as a dancer and performer.

“Tonight, my family [was] bothered [by] what happened to my daughter Cianne Dominguez. She was attemptedly (sic) raped by this guy named Shervey S. Torno. A gay bar dancer and performer. Short story is, the suspect followed my daughter to her condo, forcibly prevented the door from closing and held her waist, forcing to kiss her,” he wrote.

John shared that Cianne was fortunate enough to fight off her attacker and take video of the alleged rapist as he escaped.  

“Good thing that my daughter is strong enough to resist and the suspect ran. My daughter took video footage of him as he’s escaping Shervey a.k.a. Ronnie Gray ran along EDSA trying to escape but was captured by the OIC of the condominium,” John added.

“Shervey is now under the custody of QC Police District 10 and facing serious charges. Please pray with us for my daughter as she is under trauma from the said incident,” he ended.

Meanwhile, fans of the It’s Showtime host expressed their concern for her in the comment section and on social media. Other netizens shared the official statement of Cianne’s father on various social media platforms to warn others who may have come in contact with the alleged rapist.

Cianne joined the official hosting line up of the noontime variety show after being a contestant of the former segment, Showtime Sexy Babe.
