On April 8, 2024, K-pop group THE BOYZ announced that they will bring their Zeneration II concert tour to Manila in August, which marks the second visit of the K-pop group to the country for this year.

The 11-piece group shared a poster with the tour dates and cities on its X (previously Twitter) account. August 25 is listed as the stop in Manila.

Other stops on the tour include Bangkok, Jakarta, Macau, Kuala Lumpur, some North American stops, and two European venues.

More details are set to be released soon.

THE BOYZ will also be performing at the KWAVE Music Festival in Manila on May 11 with several P-pop artists as well as K-pop girl group fromis_9.

This is not THE BOYZ’s first concert in the Philippines, having performed in Manila on July 15, 2023 at the Araneta Coliseum. After the concert, the group managed to take a break from their schedules to visit Siargao. However, they did not come for the sun and surf; instead, they did some work for their most recent comeback.

For their 2nd album, PHANTASY, THE BOYZ released a music video for their title track “LIP GLOSS,” which was filmed on the island of Siargao. The island perfectly fit the summery vibe of the lively and upbeat love song.

THE BOYZ is an 11-member group composed of Sangyeon, Jacob, Hyunjae, Younghoon, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Haknyeon, Eric and Sunwoo. Their most recent comeback, [PHANTASY] Pt. 3 Love Letter, marks their 3rd and final installment to the PHANTASY series, which has the title track “Nectar.”
